The Sharma Center’s inception is rooted in the Sex-Postive Community Center movement dedicated to building communities to support those interested or involved in alternative sexual relationships.  It is legally organized as a Washington State non profit corporation with the purpose to: Promote understanding, communication, skill and practice in alternative intimate relationships by providing educational resources and experiential opportunities while building community.

The goal of The Sharma Center is to facilitate positive sexual self expression where one’s deepest intentions and passions can be  authentically realized through personal discovery and choice.  The authority for the organization’s formation, direction and management come from a board of directors drawn from the community itself.

We will provide classes, workshops, seminars, lectures, experiential social gatherings and other opportuniities for those interested or involved in the alternative sexual community.
